So far, with two albums dropped, one which is on i-Tunes and so many more digital distributors, I still feel like people don’t know who I am. The fans that I do have are awesome and I wouldn’t trade them for anything because they understand my music. Its just that I feel that the rest don’t seem to care about an independent artist no more. I put everything I have into each song I make and I try to put on the best shows that I can. So why is Jon Dubb still unknown? Why is no one promoting my music to the world?

As a kid growing up in New Jersey, music was a way to escape from the world around me. Being a child that was fatherless and dealing with drugs and alcohol at an early age, music was a way to cope and share how I was feeling. So, I took it and ran. I love being an artist and making music that people can relate to and enjoy but its definitely taking its tole on me. I just don’t understand what it takes to grab peoples attention.

I just feel like its time to brake through to the fans and the potential new fans. So I’m asking YOU. What do I need to do different? When you listen to music what grabs your attention? What makes you want to support that artist? What makes you love their music so much?

Maybe with your help I will be able to change some things and reach more people with my music. What do you think?
